It’s no secret that social media is a critical tool for small business owners and community organizers looking to connect with their target demographic. To level the playing field for minority business owners, Meta created Meta Elevate. This is a community learning platform that empowers Black, Latinx, and Hispanic small business owners and community organizers to reach their full potential by leveraging Meta’s suite of products.
With a desire to get the word out and increase engagement within the community, Meta turned to Ten35 to create an authentic and culturally relevant video that sells potential community members on the benefits of joining Meta Elevate.

As a racially diverse team, we decided to attract the audience with the same thing that moved us: The strength found in unity. Because Meta Elevate functions as a community and a learning platform, Black, Latinx, and Hispanic business owners support and learn from one another. In this video, we highlighted the many ways members can support and advocate for one another.
For the shorter video, we pivoted the focus from connection to success. Each of the small business owners featured experienced wins because of Meta Elevate, and we brought those to the forefront here.
